Metaphors

We have been learning about metaphors in Pod 4. A metaphor is when you describe something at the same time as something else. Like saying it sounded like there was a herd of elephants in the room when there really wasn't.

Coby is a radio that is never turned off at the wall.

Joel is an ever-ready battery that has never-ending energy.

Angelina is pop-corn kernels in a hot microwave.

David is an explorer of a whole new world when he looks at a screen.

Ethan is a walking calculator.

Carys  is a goldfish that floats on the surface and bumps into the sides of the bowl.

Georgia is a fast motorbike with limitless petrol.

Campbell is a tote-tray full of creativity.

Amy is a motor-bike engine turned up to the max.

Bonnie is confetti popping out of nowhere.

Nevaeh is an intrepid  explorer going in for any opportunity.

Wyatt is a sleepy cat on a usual Sunday afternoon.

Anika'bella is a bee buzzing around the teacher's head.
